This song is about self hatred. It was written way back in 1994. All the songs on this disc are true to some extent. Some were written at the moment of crisis and this one was no exception. Steve deliberately added the "Spaceballs" sample to alleviate some of the pain involved in the recording process. Scumby is all the about the harsh realities, struggles and insecurities many face through life. Evil will always triumph...
